Talk to Black Voters about Marriage Equality - Saturday July 11!
ByThe Jordan Rustin Coalition (JRC) is partnering with Equality California (EQCA) and
Vote for Equality (VFE) for our coalition’s first South LA canvass for marriage equality!
If you want to help win marriage back by talking one-on-one with voters, we need you out there with us this Saturday, July 11th when we’ll be going door-to-door in areas of Baldwin Hills, Leimert Park, and Ladera Heights where the Prop.8 vote was split 50/50.
This canvass is a great opportunity to have crucial conversations with African-Americans voters through one on one conversations, which is the most effective way to change the hearts and minds of voters and win marriage back here in California.
A full training and lunch will be provided.
Please join me this Saturday from 10am - 3pm at:
Holy Faith Episcopal Church
260 North Locust Street, Inglewood, CA 90601.
From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Join us to Win Marriage Back and Make it Real. RSVP to Milton Davis at milton@eqca.org by Thursday. And bring friends - the more people out there, the better!
